• Designed 24 detailed well completion & workover procedures for 6 multi-stage horizontal wells including cased-hole logging, frac treatment, and installation of liner, tubing and rod pump assembly.
• Conducted first successful multi-well communication study utilizing DFIT, microseismic, chemical tracers, and surface gauges.
• Interacted with field personnel daily to track scheduling and ensure necessary safety and environmental policies were followed.
• Performed risk analysis of offset P&A and non-operated wells to determine if safety precautions should be taken to prevent inter-well communication during fracture treatment.
• Coordinated with sub-surface, production, and facilities teams to ensure life-of-field requirements were built into completion design.

• Conducted first extensive completion optimization study of the Bluesky field using a sensitivity model to determine optimum stimulation design including frac placement, fluid type, proppant, and number of stages.
• Performed 500 hours of pre and post-treatment fracture propagation modeling, reservoir simulation, production forecast, and economic analysis using software packages including GOHFER, Predict-K, and WellWhiz.
• Analyzed fracture growth potential and provided recommendations for prevention of of out-of-zone growth.
• Monitored and QA/QC on-site fracture operations of 5 wells in the Duvernay, Montney, Cardium, Glauconite and Notikewin formations.

• Identified & tested new coil tractor intervention technique to fully access and cleanout long horizontals.
• Utilized viable technology for West Sak heavy-oil field and wrote procedure for first successful $0.5 million coil tubing fill cleanout using this technique.

EOR Analysis of Cedar Creek Anticline in Williston Basin

• Analyzed pattern level performance for 15 Cedar Hills gas flood injection patterns in Williston Basin.
• Determined and quantified effectiveness of high-pressure air injection by utilizing flood efficiency diagnostics.
• Studied reservoir compatibility to gas flooding in order to determine effectiveness of potential CO2 flood program.
• Contributed to reservoir development and asset EOR strategy.

Artificial Lift Optimization in North Louisiana

• Monitored, evaluated, and analyzed effectiveness of gas well artificial lift methods in North Louisiana including plunger lift and surfactant foamer.
• Determined combined benefit of plunger lift and surfactant foamer usage for 33 gas wells in Haynesville, Bossier, and Cotton Valley formations while optimizing usage amounts and increasing plunger up time.
• Created economic uplift by adding field value of $78,000/month.

Geologic Structure Mapping in Deepwater Gulf of Mexico

• Created map contours, fault structures, amplitudes, and estimated oil in-place volumes for Deepwater Gulf assets in East Breaks area - including prolific Nansen and Boomvang Fields.
• Flew to the world's first truss production platform, Nansen Spar, to bring well online for first-oil production.
• Became familiar with in-place volume calculations, well data acquisition, and geologic mapping through Petra software and organization tasks.
