Alec Martino

I founded Simplicity along with my wife in 2020. We set out to provide the most approachable and scalable Pediatric Therapy practice and have done just that. Currently, we serve hundreds of children and adolescents every week and use Therapy Brands software to do so. In August 2024, I decided to focus solely on our business and restructure our operations. That project is now finished.

Being the third employee at a seed-stage startup requires you to wear every hat possible. In the beginning, I oversaw the development and deployment of our MVP, worked alongside the founder to raise capital from investors, hired and led the initial sales team, and managed overall operations for our distributed company. In my tenure, we went from the seed stage to raising our Series A and Series B within fifteen months.

I led a 19-person sales team selling three unique layered applications to our core software. Our territory covered 20 US states and the Caribbean. Team performance during my time exceeded 130% of quota.

I was responsible for a two-state territory selling our core SaaS product and layered applications. Exceeded 180% of quota in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 before moving to a leadership role.

Traveled on-site to software deployments to train end-users how to use our software properly.
