  • Fills in when lead HRA's and supervisor are absent, balancing workload while ensuring established procedures are adhered to
  • Informs supervisor on matters requiring attention of the Command leadership
  • Serves as SME (Subject matter expert) for MHS Genesis and occasionally travels to other MEPS (Military Entrance Processing Station) to train human resources assistants on new processes to adhere to standards. Responsible for putting error-free administrative data into military HRIS system and performing Quality Assurance/ Quality Checks (QA/QC) achieving a 99% accuracy input rating score
  • Responsible for hands on classifiable fingerprinting of applicants electronic fingerprinting transmission to investigating agencies (OPM/FBI); reconciled fingerprint transaction acceptance for background checks with a 100% proficiency rate
  • Conducts on the job training for new employees, using current regulations and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and reports efforts to supervisor.
  • Completes coding and processing of personnel actions using USMIRS personnel systems, MHS Genesis, and necessary programs within USMEPCOM guidelines.
