• Lead the team in providing dialysis to Acute patients who are admitted to the hospital. My responsibilities also include pain management, blood pressure monitoring and support, administration of blood products, monitoring the acid base balance in patients that are in End stage renal failure. This is achieved by following the Dr. Orders and using nursing judgment to ensure the safety of the patients.

• Provide education to employees to ensure safety. Provide minor treatment such as band aids, Tylenol and antihistamine for workers as needed. Also provide emergency medical care as needed. Provide drug screening and document any medications Rx to employees. Help ensure a safe and productive work environment.

• Assist MD in set up for or, draw or blood for needed labs, PPD testing and reading, computerized documentation, provide or with medication accurately and timely. Also answer any questions patients and MD may have. Call in and document Rx. Needed. Provide a safe and nurturing atmosphere for patients and staff alike.
