- The entry-level Production Laborer is responsible for the operation of various mill production equipment, general housekeeping tasks, accurately reading tape measures and gauges and other test equipment, following directions, ensuring quality, and monitoring the process to produce quality products. This position is responsible for making equipment adjustments, cleaning the equipment/ facility, and performing other designated tasks in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Job functions include:
- Maintain a safe work environment for myself and other associates.
- Assist crew members with housekeeping and general production tasks.
- Operate Forklift and/or Bobcat to retrieve supplies and move product.
- Monitor and make adjustments to the equipment, including visual checks jams and other malfunctions.
