Bartender with five years of experience at a high volume bar. Have experience working events thrown by the Alalmo that generated a high volume of customers. I truly thrive under pressure and once I get the handle of something, I strive to be the best that I can be at it. I am also a part-time FOH manager and have experience counting down the drawer and running the deposit at the end of a shift. I have also trained a good number of staff members over the years and am comfortable with learning new things.
This was my first serving job, and the job that I have stayed at for years. Originally hired as a server, I eventually worked my way up to a bartending position that has really taught me all that I know today. Bartending at the Alamo still requires me to handle serving on the floor, while also taking care of, and serving, the bar. I am more than comfortable working with a high volume of guest and can work under large amounts of pressure.
Work high-volume nights that are fast-paced.
- Handles large amounts of cash during the night.
-Also, I am a part-time manager, so I am responsible for counting the cash drawer and making the deposit at the end of the shift.
-I have been responsible for training new bartenders.
I have consistently worked high-volume, high-stress nights.
Cafe barista for one year before being promoted to cafe lead. As lead, I handled money, café orders, and managed café staff. Also, I was responsible for placing café inventory orders and creating the café staff schedule on behalf of the manager.
First job as a teenager. It was a great experience that lent a hand in helping me be able to manage my time and handle a high volume. It was also a job that required me to constantly be on my feet.
