During COVID and after retirement I proactively sought to help the community by seeking employment in the Richmond County School System. I started out working as Teacher Assistant at the Alternative School with Special Education. I was then asked to teach the High School Science under a Provisional Teachers Certificate and accepted the offer as it was a time of need and caring for the community and students.
Worked at Care South Consultants a Home Health Agency as an Administrative Assistant and assisted Home Health Care Nurses with home visits. Assisted persons with disabilities, providing resources that met their client’s daily needs, (appointments, medications, counseling. Performed intake and follow-ups on clients; assisted with daily assignment rosters for health monitors to ensure compliance with external agencies (State and Local).
