• Achieved designation of AATG National German Center of Excellence for the development of the German Program at The Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science and Technology that promotes immersive and experiential learning, design thinking, and rigorous interdisciplinary instruction.
• Named "Teacher of the Year" at The Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science and Technology for the 2022/2023 school year.
• Collaborated with team of 6 educators in the development of the national Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee for the American Association of Teachers of German.
• Received the GCPS Foreign Language Program PEAK Award for professionalism, experience, achievement and knowledge every year since the 2016/2017 school year, resulting in a total of 8 PEAK awards.
• Achieved global recognition as 1st place winner in the Our Sustainable Future competition from the Goethe Institut by completing a research paper, project proposal and documentary film with three students on sustainability, with particular focus on solar energy and a new prototype for a cheaper, yet effective solar panel for the American green-energy market.
• Presented on Building Community through Communication and Collaboration at the Fall 2023 ACTFL Convention.
• Presented on Project-Based Learning and Interdisciplinary Instruction in a Full-Immersion Classroom at the Fall 2019 ACTFL Convention.
