I am currently a Training Technician for the Mock-Up Shop. I work on the operation side of the shop so our job duties include maintaining all of the door and cabin trainers and making sure that all of our equipment is up to date and working. Also making sure all of our doors are operating identical to the real aircraft so the flight attendant instructors and students can get the best experience. I am more of the metal guy on my side of the shop so I take on a lot of projects such as fabricating and welding platforms for our trainers and any other pieces to the doors. I've welded gust locks, brackets, stainless steel plates and other pieces of equipment that I could save instead of buying new parts.

• Department 206 at TOC. Started as part of the cabin interiors crew. Was chosen to join the paint and laminate crew after a 30-day assessment. Duties were repairing all damages to seats, overhead bins, and laminated walls. Repairs included: Identifying damages, Fiberglass and/or Bondo repair, sanding and painting.

• Upon graduation, I gained employment with Hammett's and learned the landscaping business. I have poured concrete, graded and operated heavy equipment such as bobcats and tractors; performed lawn care, tree cutting and removal.We also performed custom landscape jobs utilizing sod, block, irrigation, and lighting systems.

• Loaded and unloaded freight using forklifts and hand trucks.
