Throughout my nearly sixteen years with the Sandy Springs Fire Department, I have taken a highly motivated and proactive approach to aiding in the expansion of the all-hazards response offered to the citizens and guests of the City. I have assisted and led training operations for the department and its members for nearly a decade as a field training officer, often traveling out of state to obtain better knowledge surrounding cultural advancements and best practices. As a medic for the North Metro Swat Team since 2015, I've been allowed to assist with dozens of high-risk warrants to provide life-saving interventions if needed. Toward the end of 2019, I was assigned as the Lieutenant to the City's technical rescue team, and I have obtained every rescue discipline associated with the National Professional Qualification System.
