• As a pre-school aid, my role was to foster and create safe and enjoyable environment for pre-schoolers ages 1-4
• Responsibilities were and not limited to: Cleaning, organizing, teaching, and delegating, in regard to managing classrooms of pre-schoolers
• This job required flexibility as I was often working with others in a fast-paced environment
• Working well on a team was highly emphasized and required excellent communication skills and emotional regulation skills, as stressful situations often occurred at the pre-school.

• As the intern at a private practice, my role was to provide counseling services for clients
• My responsibilities were to provide counseling services to clients, create client-based notes, and treatment plans
• In addition, reading counseling/mental health books and listening to podcasts to further develop my professional identity
• As the intern, I was given the opportunity to practice flexibility, as I was having to communicate with multiple people at times and create a schedule that was organized and timely
• I have grown professionally in the time I have been able to develop a professional stance as a therapist by developing my skills in having humility, flexibility, and professionalism.
