ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I have been in the medical field from the age of 18 to current year. I have multitasked and achieved many job roles in a clinical office from reception to lab/clinical tech. When I started the surgical tech program in 2020, I did over 120 clinicals including different surgeries such as, GYN/OBGYN, Endo, Plastics, General, Ortho, Heart, GNI, etc. I decided that I wanted to do Labor & Delivery in my surgical career at the end of my graduation from the program. I decided to then add onto my certifications to have more skills and education. I started the medical assistant program in January 2025, I have achieved 160 clinical hours where I have learned EKGs, give injections, Triage (blood pressure, temp, height/weight, etc.), blood draws, labs. I am a very hands-on learner, people person, and I enjoy learning new skills and roles in the clinical/medical setting. Flexibility is a skill that I have accomplished over the time period of being in the medical/clinical field as well as time management. My goal is to have a set career goal that I can retire from and use my skills that I have learned.
