Certification

Through the American Red Cross organization I became both CPR and babysitting certified by taking multiple classes with both lectures and hands-on activities. By getting my babysitting certification, families and clients put more trust in me with their children when they are away. As for CPR, incase there were to be an emergency, especially while babysitting, I have the required knowledge to perform any needed actions.

Awards

Throughout my 9th grade year at Wheeler High School I have proudly received multiple awards showcasing my hard work throughout the past year. In the agricultural field I received a total of 3 awards for my freshman year. Through my Floriculture and Nursery/Landscape CDE's (Career Development Events) I was awarded 2 Gold Emblems in scoring at each event. This means I individually placed in the top 10% at the entire competition. Not related to the CDE's, I was given a Greenhand award marking my commitment and motivation towards my agriculture course and FFA club my 1st year. Finally, to close out the year, I was granted Principals Honor Roll with a 4.0+ GPA.
