Summary

Since 2003 I have had the joy of serving the local church as a Senior Pastor. I began serving in my first church while I was still in college at Green Hill Baptist Church in Greensburg, KY. I have served in three additional churches: Chestnut Grove Baptist Church,st Church, and Cave City Baptist, and I am currently serving at Millen Baptist Church. In addition to service as a Senior Pastor, I spent nearly five years as a full-time hospital chaplain, endorsed by the North American Mission Board.

My wife and I have been married for twenty years, and we have four children. Caleb, our oldest, will begin at the University of Georgia in August. Our daughter Bethany is 15, Joshua is 13, and Jordan is 11. Our desire, as a family, is to be in and to serve the local church.

As a pastor, I believe strongly in Biblical formation in the life of the church members through expositional preaching, Bible studies, and any ways to enhance spiritual growth. I also believe in being active in the community to reach people for God's glory. Presently I coach basketball at our local middle school, I volunteer for a local non-profit reaching our school system, I work with the school system and teachers to reach them for the Gospel, and various other avenues of outreach. I serve on the Board of Directors for a crisis pregnancy center as well.
