Responsibilities:

Overseeing lumber operations, Safey, quality and ensuring efficient

material handling. Also, coordinating with supplies, managing inventory,

and often handling scheduling/training.

Operational Oversight:

• Supervising Lumber Yard Activities:

This includes overseeing the storage, movement, and distribution

of lumber, ensuring efficient use of space and resources.

• Coordinating with Suppliers:

Managing relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of

materials and maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Implementing systems for tracking inventory, conducting cycle

counts, and ensuring accurate records.

Identifying and resolving operational problems related to

production, equipment, or staff.

• I was also involved heavily in the start up with the manual carpet line at the old facility. With the launch of the newautomatic carpet line in the new building I was a key piece inthe startup. I was able to run the first piece of equipment thatwas brought to the new site and I was responsible for coaching the new operators that were brought over to learn the new carpet lines. Since I’ve gotten promoted to supervisor, I've learned many ways to make the line run better and more consistent.

I was also involved in the start up with new equipment

and had many job duties and responsibilities. I was quickly

promoted to different positions at Queenwood during my

time there because I was a fast learner and was very

dependable.
