  • I enjoy my job, however I am seeking a higher paying position
  • I took a decrease in pay when I moved to Douglas and I am in search of a position that I can better myself both in a career advancement and also earn an increase in my salary with my growing experience and knowledge of my job requirements

  • I was in charge of all money for the school; paying bills, making deposits and keeping balances for all school clubs
  • I also performed other clerical duties such as typing, note taking, filing and mailing letters
  • I was moved to the Registers position and with that responsibility I did the following
  • I entered data for the school's informational system which included: entering all student information such as grades and discipline records, continuous updating of all personal student information, and creating schedules for all students
  • Entering data was just one of my responsibilities
  • Also, the data I was responsible for was uploaded to the Department of Education, so it had to be precise and detailed
  • I did other office duties such as filing, organizing all student files and other necessary documents
  • I also mailed letters to parents and had conferences with parents regarding their child's attendance
  • Due to an over scheduled workload, most days I was not able to go to lunch or have any breaks
  • After many discussions with my principal the issue was not resolved, I felt it was in my best interest due to my physical and mental health to resign
  • I do not mind working overtime or even missing lunch some days, however everyday puts a tremendous stress on a person and their work will start to reflect this
  • I did not want this to happen
