The liver they replace in 2022, failed and I had to get another liver and also a kidney transplant in November 2024. This time went exceptionally well and in January, I was given a work note able to return to ER nursing full duty. I have been an ER RN for 25 years with experience in ER, ICU, House supervisor, IV access team as well as assistant to nurse manager. I am again healthy and ready to work and help patients.
I took the COVID Injections in December 2020, and the second injection January 2021. I ended up getting Blood clots in my Portal vein and lost my liver. I had my first liver transplant March, 2022 and was unable to work for 14 months.
