- I was a owner operator. I had to deliver loads in a timely fashion and coordinate with the brokers with a detailed time of arrival. If I had any delays I had to communicate that to either the broker or the receiver. I maintained the maintenance on the truck as well staying DOT complaint. Being over the road constantly you have to stay organized and well managed at all times. That's exactly what I did.
