I am a passionate and experienced K-5 Special Education Teacher with extensive knowledge in supporting students diagnosed with autism, learning disabilities, and behavioral challenges. Recognized as the 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year, I am committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and structured learning environment that promotes student success.

As the sponsor of my school’s National Jr. Beta Club, which has earned the distinction of excellence, I cultivate leadership and community engagement among students. Beyond the classroom, I mentor fellow educators, offering strategic interventions and best practices for managing student behaviors and enhancing classroom dynamics.

In addition to my role in education, I am a pre-licensed counselor, working primarily with children and adolescents. I provide guidance and support in navigating their mental health journeys, equipping them with coping strategies for daily life challenges. By merging my expertise in education and counseling, I actively contribute to the well-being of students both within my school and the broader community.

My combined experience in special education, behavior intervention, and counseling uniquely positions me to excel as a Behavior Liaison within the county. I am eager to apply my skills in a broader capacity to advocate for student success, support educators, and enhance behavioral and emotional development programs.
