Radiography Associate of Applied Science Degree graduate with a combination of clinical experience and classroom knowledge. Extensive training in X-ray Imaging, Mobile X-ray, Operating Room, and Fluoroscopy Procedures. Practice in various settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, urgent care, and health parks. Successfully completed approximately 1,000 clinical externship hours.
• Communicate with patients and families, providing clear, detailed information about the imaging process and answering any inquiries or concerns.
• Administer Coronary Computed Tomography Angiography (CCTA) exams to determine coronary heart disease through noninvasive 3D imaging.
• Effectively operate radiology equipment by adjusting appropriate radiation exposure and adhering to all safety measures and regulations.
• Perform MRIs, CT scans, and X-rays of different body parts and develop the images for review.
• Analyze physicians’ orders to appropriately identify medical imaging needs.
• Produce images utilizing fluoroscopy to facilitate physicians’ assessment and diagnoses of patients.
