In addition to my daily tasks as a Proposal Coordinator II, I:

• Became a true SME and go-to person for many types of requests and national sales teams, particularly in the State, Local and Higher Education sector.
• Cultivated many positive relationships with sales team to deliver timely proposals according to client requirements, ultimately becoming true partners with the sales team and other corporate teams.
• Conducted meetings with clients to assist members of the sales team in understanding proposal requirements.
• Fully took ownership of the new hire training program; re-created and maintained a new training program for new team members, forming them into fully independent members of the team.
• Mentored and trained new team members, providing detailed feedback on direct hires' final proposal drafts to ensure a well-rounded proposal, using this feedback as teaching moments.
• Helped meet changing demands by recommending improvements to team processes and reporting.

In addition to many of the tasks I did as a Proposal Coordinator I, I:

• Gathered, organized and input information into digital database, often drafting and editing content that was consistent with company standards.
• Created and managed project plans, timelines and budgets, while providing routine updates to the sales field to ensure full project completion.
• Assisted with training and development of new hires.
• Managed and completed 4-5 proposals weekly for various commercial and SLED clients.
• Assisted new team members with escalations and follow-ups on proposals.

• Utilized information from a central knowledge base to complete requests accurately and according to client requirements.
• Coordinated with many corporate teams, such as Contracts, Legal, Compliance and HR, to ensure proposal content was appropriately reviewed and demonstrated.
• Developed and executed response plans for the sales field and other applicable corporate teams to ensure timelines were met.
• Independently managed entire RFP's through their lifecycle, including frequent communication and follow-ups.
• Recognized requests for the team and took ownership of requests without being prompted.
