Golf, Tennis, helping people

  • I pay golf mainly with customers. It took 9 years to shoot below 90.
  • I played USTA for 17 years and went to state playoffs twice. We lost 3-2 on both occasions.
  • We support different benevolent groups, but our favorite is the Opende school in Moshi, Tanzania for orphans. The school started out as a place for 0-6 year olds whose parents died from Aids or other circumstances. It has grown into a place for 7-12 year olds and now 12-18 year old kids. They are starting a farm to be self productive and the woman who started this school taught my daughter to speak Swahili. In retirement, my wife and myself will be helping at the school for 3-6 months per year if all goes to plan.
