My name is Geovanni Marcia, and I am currently enrolled in the Bridge Program at Kennesaw State University and Chattahoochee Technical College, where I am studying Cybersecurity. My program GPA is 3.4, and my overall GPA is 3.2. In addition to my academic pursuits, I am actively working towards obtaining my CNAA and COMPIT certifications to further enhance my skills and qualifications. I plan to update my resume upon the completion of these certifications, showcasing my commitment to professional growth in the field of cybersecurity. Soccer has been a foundational part of my personal and professional development. As a member of a state championship-winning team in 2017, I gained firsthand experience in leadership, collaboration, and working toward a common goal. Being named All-Region in both my sophomore and junior years highlighted my commitment to continuous improvement and excellence. The recruiting process for college soccer required resilience, discipline, and time management—skills I developed through rigorous training, extensive travel for tournaments, and proactive communication with coaches. Throughout my soccer career, I learned the importance of perseverance, adaptability, and teamwork—valuable lessons that have shaped my approach to challenges both on and off the field.
As a Kitchen Manager, I was responsible for overseeing daily operations, working 35-50 hours per week while also attending school full-time. My role included managing inventory, placing and organizing weekly supply orders to ensure proper stock levels, and minimizing waste. I also handled staff scheduling, balancing labor needs with budget constraints to maintain smooth operations. In addition, I supervised kitchen staff, ensuring efficiency, quality control, and compliance with health and safety standards. Juggling these responsibilities alongside my studies required strong time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
In this role, I was responsible for receiving, processing, and shipping IT hardware, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management. My duties included inspecting incoming shipments, logging product details into a database, and preparing shipping orders for outbound deliveries. I maintained detailed records of hardware specifications, serial numbers, and destinations to ensure efficient tracking. Additionally, I collaborated with logistics teams to confirm proper handling and timely delivery while following company protocols for data entry and asset management.
