• I also taught Model United Nations (MUN) to students in grades 6-10, one day a week, voluntarily. This role enhanced my leadership skills significantly. Facilitating discussions, presiding over debates, and ensuring that each member spoke and learned required me to lead, set the standards, and impose rules to combat possible global issues. My teaching method accommodated the different learning speeds and preferences among students, which helped me to accommodate students from different backgrounds. MUN also enhanced my communication skills, as I had to deliver information succinctly and in an engaging way so that I could catch the students' attention and establish their interest in the program. Directing them through their own presentations and speeches confirmed my view of effective presentation and communication methods. Seeing my students gain confidence and eloquence reflected my effectiveness in presenting and my personal growth.
