Saint Andrew's School had been a 6-12 grade school and was in the middle of an expansion project that would add Kindergarten - Grade 5 to their campus. I was hired to assist the Head of Lower School in designing curriculum, hiring faculty, designing the admissions program and admitting 250 students in one year. The opportunity broadened my experience as as administrator and education.

Current Board Involvement
- Currently, I sit on the Board of Emmaus House in Savannah. This institution serves the hungry and needy in Savannah.
- I also serve as a Trustee for Trinity Church in York Harbor, Maine. I am currently the Head of the Landscaping Committee, as we undergo a major renovation of our gardens with a Master Plan for future use. This project was begun 3 years ago amd will probably need another two years to complete.
- I have been a member of the Garden Club of America for 40 years and currently belong to a Zone 1 Club in Maine; The Piscataqua Garden Club.. I have served as Treasurer and Horticulture Chair and currently sit on the Visiting gardens Committee.
- I was introduced to gardening at a young age as my mother served as National Conservation Chairman for the Garden Club ot America. I also maintain a substantial perennial garden in Maine where the deer don't reside!
- I am a member of the Coastal Botanical Garden and the Camellia Society in Savannah.
