  • Assist probation/pretrial services officers in compiling criminal histories/profiles, running record checks through local and national databases and files, conducting inquiries with collateral agencies, collecting verifiable and supportable documentation, and performing similar activities. Enter data and information into the office’s computerized database system
  • Provide specialized technical and administrative support to probation/pretrial services officers in a wide range of areas, including assisting with conducting investigations, compiling criminal histories, coordinating with collateral agencies, and performing similar duties under the guidance of a probation/pretrial services officer.
  • Greet visitors/callers in person and by telephone, answer routine questions, and direct visitors/callers to the appropriate person or department. Route all duty calls and e-mails to duty officers and keep a tally of calls per duty officer. Instruct those reporting for supervision or investigation on procedures for completing appropriate forms and authorizations.
  • I currently support (6) Court Investigative officers
  • Disclosing final presentence reports not only to the Court, but the attorneys of records as well.
  • After sentencing I am responsible for entering the sentence, special conditions, and verifying the Judgement has all the correct sentencing information.
  • Upon receipt of the signed Statement of Reason (SOR) back from the Court, I am responsible for submitting documents through Capture which allows the United States Marshal Service (USMS) to process the case for Bureau of Prisons (BOP) designation.
