SUAS Program Manager

  • developed comprehensive training events for 10 SUAS operators within the 823 BDS; he ensured currency and proficiency by facilitating multi sessions of differing problem sets that the operator will be expected to accomplish, enhancing operational readiness and significantly improving mission effectiveness across the unit.
  • developed the Airfield damage assessment training event with Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Civil Engineering; conducted comprehensive briefings on sUAS safety, identified 7 critical planning shortfalls, and enhanced operational readiness.
  • led a team of 11 SUAS operators in post-hurricane assessments at Moody AFB; he rapidly coordinated the division of base sectors with other 23 SFS, capturing critical imagery and video, which facilitated the identification of $73 million in damages across 132 sites, expediting recovery and restoration efforts and resource allocation.
  • In charge of maintaining a total of 19 sUAS systems from fixed wings and quadcopter systems.
  • In charge of maintaining paperwork, currency, airspace request, training and evaluating around 40 sUAS operators.
  • Work with members of SOCOM to train some of their operators on the Skydio as well as coordinated with them to have operators flying in different TDY locations to target new training for the future of warfare.
