• Global expert within Kemira for alkaline sizing performance chemistry and retention and drainage solutions in the tissue/towel and papermaking industry.
• Innovative solutions, contributing to 15 patent applications globally.
• Development of 12 new products, with focus on product performance enhancements, cost optimization, or improved sustainability profile.
• Collaborate with production, PSRA, supply chain and product line management to bring new products to market efficiently.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively via training, research reports, and project planning meetings.

Project Management:

• Serving as Project Manager on four global NPDs (New Product Development Projects).
• Proficient in managing stage-gate process.
• Proficient with SAP and ProFlow project management software.
• Have taken new products quickly from benchtop to market, engaging core stakeholders to achieve milestones and meet or exceed KPIs.

Paper Chemicals Group

• Applications expert in use of pulp and paper additives to improve end-product performance.
• Development of 2 new products for paper chemical portfolio.
• Performed quality analysis of products for customer trials or for production assistance.
• Extensive knowledge of paper property testing in support of customer trial activity.

Analytical Group

• Responsible for deposit analysis, product quality assessments, and quantification of paper chemical retention in customer samples.
• Method development for quantification of AKD in paperboard.
