With over 35 years of evolving experience at Kinetic by Windstream and its predecessors, including Cable Tv of Ga, I've honed my problem-solving and team leadership skills. Transitioning from retail to connection consultancy, I've excelled in client relationship building and spearheaded training programs, embodying integrity and fostering team collaboration.
I am a Lead Connection Consultant with Kinetic. I was formally in the retail store since 1989 and in February of this year we transitioned to a connection center. I started in 1989 at Cable Tv of Ga as a collection representative. After graduation in 1990 I was able to go fulltime with Cable Tv of Ga and eventually became the office manager. In 1992 Standard Telephone purchased the company and I was then transitioned to an accounts payable position where I posted all payments for all of our North Georgia customers. We have since then went through many merges including STC, Alltel, Windstream and now Kinetic. I have worked in the retail store where my duties included taking payments, billing questions, processing new install orders and processing bank deposits. I was promoted to lead customer service rep in 1992 and I have kept a lead position since then. I was the sole person responsible for all inventory audits and ordering equipment. Since they closed our retail store in February 2024 we have transitioned to more of a marketing position including arranging pop up events, participate in community service events and answering billing calls and processing new install orders. Currently I also have the privilege of training our new representatives. I have been very fortunate to keep my tenure of 35 years with all the merges and buyouts.
