Jess is a hardworking and passionate individual who thrives in fast paced environments. They are outspoken on equal rights activism, are always willing to help people in need, and are an overall kind and genuine person. When talking about them in a work environment, many co-workers and employees enjoy working when they are on shift. There has not been a job that Jess has had a negative impact on, and they have never been fired or terminated from any job. Every job they have left after about a year of employment or more and on good terms. Jess is a worthwhile employee who brings great work ethic, positive morale, and incredible efficiency to the job.
Jess was hired on as an outside hire with Starbucks to be a Shift Supervisor at Store #13879. They are well regarded amongst their peers and upper management as a team player, a hard worker, and an efficient barista and shift supervisor. They are often regarded as the supervisor that most baristas go to when they have an issue because of how comfortable and easy it is to talk about things with them.
Jess worked with the Motto Mortgage Cooperation team to build personalized content that boosted the viewership and outreach of the company. They worked with several loan officers to schedule content that fit their needs and clientele, helped loan officers with their bookkeeping and scheduling, and designed personal advertisements, videos, and graphics for the franchise.
Jess was fast-tracked at Tiny Bubbles to be a shift manager. They went through the ranks of the store in about a month. They worked as a shift manager, which includes handling money, opening and closing the store, analyzing sales for brew/prep lists, managing employees, business phone etiquette when the owner is out, and much more. They also had been trained by the owner to train new employees in almost every position of the store. They received three pay increases over one year for their hard work and dedication to the company.
Jess worked as a teacher and teaching assistant at Amplify
Homeschool Co-Op. At this homeschool co-op, Jess assisted in 2nd and 3rd grade general education classrooms, as well as art and theatre classes. They taught both 4th and 5th grade science classes once a week and substituted for many teachers, providing their own lesson plans for many of these classes. These tasks required time management skills, lesson planning, childcare, and more.
Jess worked up from serving to hosting, bartending, and eventually key holding/floor management. Jess oversaw management the staff during their shifts, handled customer and staff complaints, opened and closed the store, and managed tips and general money.
