I am a self driven, safety and security minded individual who thrives alone or in a team environment. I am also a proven business owner with a proven track record of growth and properly leading others. Former Deputy Warden of Security at Georgia Department of Corrections, skilled in team leadership and performance improvement. I am committed to and understand the importance of customer service and employee training, ready to leverage expertise in a new role.
I started South Georgia Bounce LLC as an idea that created a part time job and has steadily grown under my direction into a successful company that currently employs four individuals. I have required all assets, placed business models, designed the website, met and scheduled customers, as well as supervised employees. This is a rental business that I’m proud to say I’ve built and am a part of. I have grew company revenue from 12k my first year to over 140k the last three years. This however is mostly a two to three day a week job therefore I have ample downtime and am ready to take on an additional role to stay more active.
As the Deputy Warden of Security at Smith State Prison, I was responsible for the entire security aspects of a close security facility housing over a thousand close security offenders and the supervision of over 150 security staff members. I held this position until my retirement date.
I started in corrections at Georgia State Prison, where I held every security position the facility had.
“CO1, CO2, escort, hospital escort, TAC squad, K9 handler, CERT officer, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Recruitment Coordinator for the Southeast Region, Captain, Major, Unit Manager, and Special Management Unit Unit Manager”
I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and was able to learn and implement tactics to handle all situations from security aspects to motivating marginal employees. I only left due to promotion.
