
I have a lot of experience in the culinary world, I've done sushi, cakes, line cooking, and I'm constantly trying to learn new things. I'm a very fast learner that is very reliable and a person you can depend on. Hobbies include working on car, playing pool and always striving to learn more of whatever it is I'm trying.
As a hood tech I was taught how to check all filters and fluids, As a pit tech I learned how to do transmission fluid services, differential fluid services, oil changes, operate lifts, fuel filters, how to spot suspension issues, fluid leaks. And as a CSR I learned how to communicate with customers and was able to go over all of our services that we provide will explaining how each service is preformed, how long it takes, and why the service needed.
Was trained to cook on the flat top, char grill, deep fryer and salad and desserts. Ensure food goes out in a timely manner looking appetizing and up to food safety standards. Clean and prepare for the morning.
My responsibilities included opening up the sushi bar, ensuring we had enough prep for the day, Make and complete the sushi prep list, assist customers if they had any questions and promote our sushi specials. Closing the sushi bar down and preparing the line for the next morning and pull out any frozen fish needed for tomorrow.
My responsibilities were to ensure we had enough prep to cook for all the rooms, the restaurant inside the hotel, poolside bar, and banquet hall. Deep cleaning the kitchen every night. My greatest achievements at The Hard Rock Hotel consisted of cooking food for many weddings, concerts and parties hosted in the banquet hall. Helped my brother open this restaurant by creating the sushi, and hibachi menus. Was trained to program the saw machine and rollers to the orders length, ensure the length and thickness of the material was correct specs, fill out the paperwork, load all materials on to a pallet and attach paperwork for the forklift driver to pick up or manually use pallet jack or over head crane to packing department.
