I am a source of information to Nuclear Regional Maintenance Department Kings Bay's director and staff on a wide range of subjects and provide information on civilian and military personnel regulations, policies, and procedures in accordance with DoDI 1400.25. I seek out and assemble information on any subject required by NRMD staff, utilizing existing directives, correspondence files, charts and graphs, as well as communicating with a variety of sources within and outside the Shipyard. I provide advice, assistance and recommendations on security program management, information technology, correspondence, civilian and military personnel matters, program administration and management policies and procedures, and associated topics. I have knowledge and understanding of civilian personnel regulations, policies, procedures, and techniques and the ability to solve a variety of personnel and management support problems. I compile information to brief on policies and procedures for events as well as organization goals. I am the custodian of Standard Operating Procedures for NRMD and ensure all SOPs are accurate and current. I update SOPs as necessary and advise staff on interpretation and application. I disseminate updates and changes to guidance for civilian personnel such as physical and cyber security protocols, safety and health information, etc. As the local point of contact for all administrative services, I coordinate personnel management functions such as military and civilian performance management, payroll to include pay, allowances, entitlements, bonuses and awards, passports, retirements, leave, travel requests, SUPDESK training and timekeeping, performance appraisals, issuing of visitor badges, issuing access to the restricted waterfront area and personnel file management. I assist with the onboarding and offboarding process of civilian and military personnel, validating background checks and security clearances, ensuring all required documentation is completed and accurate and delivered to the corresponding codes, as well as submit SAAR-N forms for user accounts, computer access, and network drive accesses. I maintain and provide office services and resources such as telephones, office equipment, supplies, office space, printing, publications, files, forms control, copy machines, mail, and messenger service. I have skill in operating computers and ability to work on secure Local Area Network Computer System, utilizing the software programs in order to prepare extracts, compilations, or summaries on specific inquiries.
