A dedicated, professional member of management with three years of customer service experience, aimed to succeed as a lawyer through hard work and determination.
After working in the smaller parts of customer service, I got promoted to Front End Manager. I average between 30-40 hours a week in this position and I work the cash office, customer service desk, self-checkout area, and gas station. This position requires me to manage entire work crews, work alongside other department heads, complete forms and run reports to ensure the accuracy of sales, count down tills and safe, and directly handle customer concerns.
After working at the register for a year, I got promoted to Customer Service Coordinator. I worked at the register, self-checkout area, and the customer service desk. This position required me to practice managing cashiers and courtesy clerks, troubleshoot customer service issues, train new associates, and be responsible for break schedules.
I got promoted to cashier when I turned 16. My availability opened up as I got older so I was working longer hours and more frequently throughout the week. This position required customer service, patience, problem-solving abilities, time management, money handling, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
I was interviewed and hired at 14 to be a courtesy clerk for Food City. I could only work on the weekends due to labor laws so I advocated to work both weekend days every week. This position required customer service, organization, manual labor, decision-making, and time management.
