  • Managed a herd of 350+ boer goats for showing, breeding, and meat consumption purposes
  • I took part in all aspects of the business such as training employees, managing customer needs, and creating new business plans to excel profitability for the upcoming year
  • Other aspects of this business included selling livestock equipment, feed, and construction of infrastructure
  • Constructing necessary infrastructure: barns, sheds, fencing
  • Maintained the health and safety of the animals I looked after
  • I would administer medications as I saw fit, implemented specialty diets for livestock show preparations, and organized breedings for future offspring
  • Safely attached and utilized open and enclosed trailers for the transportation of feed, equipment, and livestock
  • I helped maintain the integrity of all equipment used on the farm ranging from tractors, skid steers, diesel engine trucks, dump trailers, etc
  • Day to day communication with customers in order to correctly fulfill their needs
  • This could range from inquiries about available animals, ordering large volumes of livestock feed, requesting panel systems, council other breeders, stud services, etc

  • I was an Electrician at Shaw floors where I was responsible for completing preventive maintenance, assisting full time Electricians with projects, and completely individual work orders
  • Gained a majority of experience here by working on large scale electrical equipment and how to successfully communicate with team members to complete tasks
  • Maintain manufacturing process equipment including electrical system components and control systems (PM) & (CM) on the electrical systems components
  • I would clean/maintain panel integrity, PLC’S, motors, and inverters
  • I ensured all components were in good, working shape
  • Most importantly, I abided by LOTO procedure at all times, and made sure all LOTO components were in working order
  • Troubleshooting and executing repairs on 6 production lines
  • I would assist full time electricians with major projects that could only be completed during down time on weekends
  • Some projects include: Replacing safety systems and sensors to ensure the safety of the machine operators
  • Demo and install new production line electrical components, and troubleshoot and repair control panels involving 12 and 24 volt DC equipment
