To pastor a local church body, faithfully preaching God’s Word, casting vision, and shepherding a church toward spiritual growth and the Great Commission.
My name is Lane Vrooman and I am 39 years old with an amazing wife (Inga) and a 4-year-old son (Elias) and 19-month-old daughter (Josie). Before getting into vocational ministry, I worked in inside and outside sales for a software and supply chain consulting company in midtown Atlanta. I had a radical encounter with Jesus at 27 and experienced his transformative grace in my life. This grace set me free from the bondage of a 10-year addiction to both drugs and alcohol. I surrendered my all to Jesus and made a commitment to follow him and to help others know God and experience his grace. God has redeemed my story to help me connect with many different people who are wrestling with sin in their lives. The areas of my life that I once kept hidden in shame and guilt have been flipped by God to use as a platform for his transformative power.
With 10 years of vocational ministry experience at Crosspoint City Church, I bring a strong commitment to biblical preaching, leadership development, and building healthy, disciple-making churches. I have helped develop and implemented discipleship pathways, built and led large ministry teams, and preached expository messages that are both faithful to Scripture and relevant to today’s culture. I have also built and supervised staff teams and helped launch two new church locations through a multisite model.
Sincerely,
Lane Vrooman
