As a Sergeant of Marines I am responsible for the day to day management of 32 Marines to repair and maintain the health and capabilities of 16+ CH-53E helicopters. I assign, lead and supervise maintenance tasks and inspections in order to meet the demands of the flight schedule. As a Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representative (CDQAR) in the airframes division, I am responsible for interpreting complex schematics and inspecting air-worthy components and structures. Obtained A&P License 07/05/2025. Qualified per Gulfstream aerospace to perform Composite and metal repairs. G700 initial maintenance and engine run school scheduled for 07/21/2025.
Supervised, guided, and taught fundamentals of basic hydraulic and airframe maintenance for 42 months.
Successfully managed the manpower of 32 Marines in the Airframes division to accomplish 400 hour flight each week.
Organized the pack up, inventory and transportation of essential tools while conducting maintenance off-site, throughout the United States and over-seas, to allow successful recovery of aircraft. Performed 3 tire and wheel safety audits for inspection, receiving an average of 97%.
