Public Relations Assistant

Revolt TV
  • Directly worked as an assistant for the head of Public Relations for REVOLT and everything REVOLT related
  • Worked directly with REVOLT talent such as Black Girl Stuff, REVOLT Black News, Double Dose Podcast etc
  • Communicated with Head of PR through daily meetings to discuss our progress on communicating with media, flight details on talent that were flying into Atlanta, and photographers needed for the event
  • Built and maintained relationships with relevant media outlets and journalists such as Complex, The Shade Room, Refinery29 etc.

Production Intern

Position Sports
  • Worked directly with event coordinator on arrival to make sure parts of the event such as: General Admission/Floor Pass, Media Credentials/Media Room, Referee/Coaches Room were in place for the event as a whole.
  • Conducted interviews with college coaches from schools as such as Michigan University, University of Massachusetts, Duke University, University of Houston, etc
  • In addition, from being able to interview college coaches, I also had the chance of having a one-on-one sit-down interview with NBA broadcaster & legend Kenny Smith
  • Orchestrated championship team interviews, which included Loyola High School & Orem High School

Marketing Intern

DREAM Foundation
  • Created a marketing plan where we researched local business in the Phoenix AZ area to help them get more exposure
  • Calculated a budget that not only benefits the event at hand but still leaves the Coyotes in a good position monetarily
  • Researched for ideal sponsorships/partnerships that would adhere to the community such as DICKs Sporting Goods
  • Participated in a live-event internship with the Arizona Coyotes where we worked with departments including Marketing, Corporate Partnerships, Broadcasting, etc.

Virtual Diversity Business Series Intern

Philadelphia Eagles
  • A 5 week virtual networking and career event series for diverse students looking to gain valuable insights into the sports industry and connect with front office and football executives.
  • Networked with department leaders in areas such as Corporate Partnerships, Sales and Activation, Marketing, Community Relations, Ticketing and Fan Services, and Eagles Autism Foundation.
  • Selected through a tedious selection process that included about 925 applicants narrowed down to only 40 participants to ensure quality interaction and networking.
