Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership & Workflow Management
• Lead and supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff during assigned shifts.
• Ensure efficient workflow and task delegation to meet customer and prescription processing demands.
• Provide direction and support in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager.

• Customer Service
• Deliver excellent customer service by resolving customer issues professionally and efficiently.
• Assist patients with prescription pick-up, inquiries, and general health product information.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance in all customer interactions.

• Pharmacy Operations
• Support pharmacists in verifying and dispensing medications according to state and federal regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels, help with ordering medications, and manage pharmacy stock to prevent shortages or overstock.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of the pharmacy area.

• Training & Compliance
• Train new team members on Walgreens pharmacy procedures and technologies.
• Ensure compliance with Walgreens policies, state and federal pharmacy laws, and store safety standards.
• Conduct shift audits or reviews as required by the Pharmacy Manager or corporate policies.

• Administrative Tasks
• Assist with scheduling, shift handovers, and documentation of incidents or irregularities.
• Maintain records of controlled substances and ensure proper documentation during receipt, storage, and disposal.
• Manage returns, expired medications, and supplier communications as needed.
