Work History

Lifegaurd

3 Months
Go Aquatics | 05.2026 - Current

As a lifeguard, I had to be able to assist any swimmers, keep the pool and related areas clean, make sure that things worked properly, and ultimately make sure that everything was safe and running smoothly. I had to be very detail oriented to make sure that there was nothing out of place and that no one is in distress. I also had to be friendly and cordial to create a welcoming environment for patrons of the pool.

Facilities Employee

1 Year 8 Months
Facilities at Covenant College | 09.2024 - 05.2026

With this job I was tasked with cleaning and maintaining multiple buildings on campus. This job required me to be flexible, reliable, and detail oriented. I was often sent place to place during shifts to help different groups in need. I even assisted in training several new employees. This job was wonderful for creating a cleaner, safer environment on campus.

Kumon Instructor

4 Years 6 Months
Kumon Math & Reading Centre | 02.2021 - 08.2025

As an employee at Kumon Math and Reading Centre, I was tasked with tutoring students, grading papers, calling parents, cleaning the centre, sorting files and papers, entering in assignments by hand, and preparing upcoming work. The job taught me how to multi-task well and work with other people. I had to communicate with parents, students, employees, and my bosses well in a fast paced environment. I was often sent from task to task during shifts as a floater, so I always had to be prepared to put in the best work possible in multiple stations. I worked with students from many different countries and with many different special needs. I had to be able to calculate mathematical problems on the spot and be a strong multi-tasker while helping other people. A big priority of mine was to help people and create a welcoming, safe enviroment.
