Collaborated with faculty mentor May Farnsworth on a research project examining contemporary Colombian literature, exploring themes of biodiversity, feminism, and ecocriticism through close textual analysis and contextual research.

• Elementary Literacy Tutor specializing in bilingual literacy support. Through the ENLACES program, assist students in English and Spanish to strengthen phonics, vocabulary, and reading comprehension, with a focus on helping second-language learners become confident, proficient readers.

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Design and implement engaging activities that promote creativity, learning, and social development. Build strong relationships with families by maintaining open communication and tailoring care to meet each child’s needs.

• Provide efficient and professional laundry services, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing garments. Ensure clothes are clean, neatly pressed, and ready to wear according to client preferences. Maintain high standards of care for delicate fabrics and special laundry instructions.

• Provide one-on-one and small-group instruction in math and literacy to students from elementary through middle school. Reinforce core academic skills, foster confidence, and improve test performance. Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.

• Lead daily camp activities, including academic enrichment, recreational games, and team-building exercises. Support campers in developing interpersonal skills and self-confidence in a structured and inclusive environment. Collaborate with staff to maintain a safe and engaging atmosphere for all participants.

• Organize and execute themed children’s parties, including budgeting, event design, and entertainment coordination. Develop personalized party activities to engage children and ensure memorable experiences. Manage client relationships and logistics to deliver events tailored to individual needs.

• Offer compassionate care for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, and fish. Responsibilities include feeding, walking, and playing with animals, cleaning litter boxes, and ensuring pets are safe and comfortable during overnight stays. Develop trust with pets and owners through consistent, reliable, and affectionate service.
