  • Diversified a global health nonprofit's revenue from 2% to 15% funding from philanthropic foundations, multilateral organizations and corporations. This required research, development and execution of engagement plans and matrix management across the organization to enure that each relationship were cultivated by the best people, at the right levels.
  • Functional lead of the development of business segments to enable effective and efficient use of donor funds in implementation of health system strengthening programs
  • Ensured repeat giving by individual donors including HNWIs by relationship management and standardization of individual donation processes to ensure that each donation was received immediately by accounting, logged into our CRM, and tax and acknowledgment letters were sent out within 2 business days of donation.

  • Incubated a new revenue diversification function in a global nonprofit that was the largest recipient of US government grants. This function would later be spun off into a separate organization. Promoted from Associate to Sr. Manager.
  • Successfully articulated and operationalized the Strategic Partnerships function to bring on new private sector funders and thought partners in its first iteration in 2013 post-2011 Merger & Acquisition; introduced new revenue-generating and in-kind partnerships within 1.5 years returning just under $2 million.
  • Increased corporate revenue by identifying, brokering, and managing new partnerships, and negotiating expanded program scopes on existing contracts in Southern and West Africa.
  • Convened & led the first team that coordinated all activities with a funder across five departments (11 staff) to ensure consistency and singular brand identity. This practice was subsequently adopted for all funders. • Developed a 5-step strategy of partnership development, adopted by the Strategic Partnerships Unit, across 4 technical business units.
