I’ve had interest in wood working since I was a kid. I just love the way it looks from tool handles, knives, art, furniture, flooring, I would love to learn the craft deeply. My dad used to restore old antique furniture and I guess that’s why I want to learn about it. There’s a beauty in it.
So I work the front of store and Starbucks as needed. So either I checkout people or make drinks and stock the Starbucks. Sometimes I do heavy lifting from grabbing the pallets that have our supplies on them. My references should be able to confirm this there has been many days where I’ve had to run the entire Starbucks by myself due to understaffing and people calling out. I’ve rarely in the 2-3 years I’ve work here that I’ve had a customer or coworker complain on me.
I worked on the food line as well as a janitorial position. Don’t know if I can say this, on weekends I would work till 3am which was definitely against child labor laws. It was my first job when I was 16. Me and my sister towards the last months when I had the job would run the entire store by ourselves. So I would prep the food to go out as well as dishes and clean various places in the restaurant.
