Professional Presentations

Spoke and presented at the Southeastern Estuarine Research Society (SEERS) conference Spring 2021 with the project titled March of the Mangroves:

Marine fauna biodiversity and distribution as a response to climate-induced saltmarsh decline and mangrove expansion.

Additional Information

  • Served on the Executive Board of Phi Alpha Omega, Flagler College's women's community service organization, for 2 years consecutively, as the Associate Advisor. This position helps to recruit new members as well as help guide them through their first year in the organization as a mentor for nearly 60 young women.
  • Served as Flagler Ambassador CORE member. A select member of the Ambassadors who works with prospective students to tour Flagler College, decide if its the "right fit", and help with new students to get prepared and acclimated to the new environment that college life brings.
  • NAUI Open Water Scuba Certification

Accomplishments

    Current volunteer for Tybee Sea Turtle Project, volunteering 4 hours weekly throughout season (May1st-October 31st).

    Volunteered over 50 hours a semester in college to local St. John's County Florida non-profit organizations including United Way of St. John's, Francis House of St. John's, Betty Griffin House and Safe Pet Rescue, while maintaining a full load of college classes (over 15 credit hours/semester) and a part time job (30 hours/ week).
