  • Company Overview: U.S. Navy/NSA Asset
  • Implemented a new Standard Operating Procedure for new ticketing queue.
  • Implemented a preventative maintenance schedule for 649 Racks spanning 32,000 sq feet.
  • Install and decommission Data Center Racks.
  • Set up new User stations utilizing KVM switching and VMWare.
  • Manage Help Desk ticketing queue.
  • Create and update Data Center Rack Drawings.
  • Coordinate the tasking between customers and installations for installing or removing new user stations and Data Center Racks.

Cryptologic Technician Maintenance (CTM)

  • Configure networks over LAN and VLAN utilizing Virtual Machine software along with server and web based applications. Using Windows Server suites and Linux Server Suites as well.
  • Repair and replaced Faulted CAT. Ran new cable for new system installs.
  • Troubleshot a blade center down to a faulty network module. Replacing the module instead of the blade center in its entirety Saving $405,000.
  • Troubleshot 2 chassis down to a faulted electronics card on each of them. Replacing the electronics cards instead of both chassis saved the Navy 112,343 dollars.
  • Troubleshot a server load error down to a cache issue. Making corrective changes to the data storage returned the system and the team from 0% operation back to 100% operability.
  • Trained and implemented Network and PC security SOP keeping the system and all sub-systems safe from malicious attack or malware.
  • Configured secure networks and implemented secure stations with secure boot parameters.
  • Updated security certificates for users systems allowing access to secured and otherwise non-accessible sites.
