While my resume may show gaps in work history, my working and learning on the job continued to be as strong a passion for me as caring for my family.
For many years, my priorities changed from being out in the field to the care and well-being of my family. I knew it was more important for me to be their primary caregiver, although my education did not sit on hold.
Raising a large family, including homeschooling half of them, is a daily education in many of the skills I have listed, in addition to more than any paper has room for.
Deciding at a mature point in my life to continue my education was only when it was clear that my children were sufficient in the skills I provided to them to care for themselves, while also being the inspiration to my goal of pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.
