As a division Protective Services Specialist for the QuikTrip corporation, I am responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all employees, customers, and visitors on property owned or leased by the QuikTrip corporation. Division Protective Services Officers provide a visible strategic deterrent, as well as prepare preliminary investigative reports for any incident involving theft, or injury to persons or property. Additionally, as the Georgia Division’s law enforcement liaison, I am responsible for fostering a positive working relationship between The QuikTrip Corporation and our local, state, and Federal Law Enforcement partners and coordinating law enforcement and corporate investigations while adhering to QuikTrip’s internal policies and procedures.
As a Special Missions Officer with GardaWorld Federal Services (GWFS) Southeast, I was charged with safeguarding and maintaining the accountability of millions of dollars daily for GardaWorld clients. Early in my tenure, I was singled out and hand selected by management to lead the GardaWorld Safety and Security Orientation program, wherein I instructed new recruits on company-specific policy pertaining to tactical operations and evaluated their ability to safely and securely implement those tactics and techniques in a real world environment. Furthermore, I served as a part of a specialized team, where I led movements requiring heightened security posture, and served as a company liaison to coordinate with Federal and Local Law enforcement assets in order to accomplish particularly sensitive operations in a safe and effective manner.
As a security staff agent assigned to the Atlanta Protective Security Division (PSD), I was tasked with carrying out the daily security needs of an Atlanta- based Ultra-high net worth individual, their family and property. I provided close protection, secure vehicle operations, and residential protective operations to ensure a safe, happy, and productive environment for those I was assigned to protect.
As a Police Officer with the City of Durham, I was responsible for protecting the lives and property of all who live and work in the City of Durham. Additional responsibilities in this position include: Enforcing violations of North Carolina General Statutes and City Ordinances within my jurisdiction, responding to calls for service, and conducting patrols within an assigned area in order to deter criminal activity. During my time as a police officer, I stood out as one of my agencies top marksman, earning a spot on the on the prestigious tactical shooting sports team.
As a Military Police Officer, I was primarily responsible for maintaining law and order by enforcing Federal, state, and military law on Department of Defense Installations. I served as my unit's supply Non-Commissioned Officer in-Charge (NCOIC) and was responsible for the accountability of over ten million dollars of military equipment. Further, I received specialized training and led countless escort missions into combat zones to coordinate the movement of key supplies in support of operations Enduring Freedom and Inherent Resolve.
