Supply Review: Lead our Monthly Supply review on +3 months' supply outlook, budget, and capacity plans presented to Directors and the Vice President and provide insights on key performance metrics such as on-time performance, raw material health, SMOG (Slow-Moving and Obsolete Goods), and backorder health.

Monthly Operating Review: Presented monthly to Planning Director on Supply status by BU, escalations and project timelines, raw material and finished good inventory metrics, limitations and scope for improvements.

Internal Touch points: Lead daily touchpoints with planners, procurement, demand and scheduling teams to align priorities, review project statuses, and drive necessary actions.

BU review with Product teams: Weekly review meetings with 5 product teams to discuss business unit status, address immediate priorities, and align on future projects.

Inventory and Production Status: Review with warehouse and production teams to mitigate any production disruptions, improve warehouse health, identify gaps and discuss improvements.

Scope

• Conducted monthly safety stock reviews, optimizing inventory levels and minimizing excess stock.
• Oversaw raw material inventory health across two warehouses, executing monthly cleanup activities to reduce aged and off-quality inventory.
• Communicated raw material ETAs to scheduling and product teams, ensuring alignment with production planning.
• Weekly demand forecast review with Demand manager to identify supply gaps and implement solutions.
• Aided Commercial BU in maintaining over 95% on time performance by ensuring RM supply and weekly review on Launches and backorders.
• Reduced inventory by 61% YoY by identifying obsolescent inventory and slow moving inventory.
• Reduced our safety stock demand by ~45% through data cleansing and regular monitoring of changes in forecast.
• Worked with Analysts to develop several BI pages to enhance visibility and automate monthly activities including raw material cleanse, Safety stock updates, raw material demand and production shortages.
• Developed SAP and ERP Macros to alleviate the work load and reduce non value added activities for IBP team.
• Developed communication strategy with over 10 internal warehouses to ensure timely arrive of products.

Achievements

• Analyzed and recalculated - Lot sizes, EOQ’s, MOQ’s, safety stocks, ROP’s and rounding values based on demand history, ABC /XYZ indicator, Stocking Strategies and published lead times.
• Successful Kanban Implementation in SAP for Procured and Manufactured parts.
• Implemented 11 CI’s; received 4 CI of the month awards.
• 4 ECE awards and 1 impact award.
• Spot Award for inventory reduction.
• Past Due reduction by 100% in the span of 4 months. Cumulative STR increased from 43% to 82% and STS increased from 88% to 96%

Scope

Planned production, materials and maintained inventory based on firm demand, forecast and stock strategy levels for 4 product lines with annual revenue $9M.

Lead the planning team towards SAP Implementation and Process Integration.

Worked with Global Supply Chain team to develop Planning Handbook and Planning Standard Work for 2 TE sites (Andover and Akron). Developed multiple metrics reports to track daily performance of team for TEIR meetings; identified, tracked, and solved issues raised related to planning parameters, processes, metrics and other key concerns.

Designed 4 visual production boards (Heijunka) on different product lines to track daily production output and escalate the issues where needed. Conducted required training sessions for the team - Super User and End User training.

Analyzed huge data sets for multiple data validation reports, Analysis and choosing planning and MRP parameters, using MS Access/SQL and MS Excel

• Analyzed demand and sales data to create inventory levels and safety stock for SKU’s.
• Calculated Key Supply Chain metrics including inventory turnovers, Supply chain costs, Cycle Counts days of inventory, re-order point and assisted the management in improving these metrics.
• Coordinated monthly meetings with management to analyze sales and produce a forecast using quantitative forecasting methods.
• Managed Procure to Pay (P2P) cycle using ERP, created and processed Purchase Orders.
