Hi,! My name is Tabby! I'm currently employed and comfortable in my current position but I'm ready for a new challenge and and opportunity for growth. People who have worked with me will say I am productive
During the 11 years I have worked at Milliken I have learned to operate several different machines used for processing yarn, I have used a stretch wrapping machine for packing, used pallet jack and roll top buggies. I was in warehouse department for a few years where I learned to operate various types of lift trucks including pole hyster, clamp hyster and forklift. I've also loaded and unloaded trucks, transport materials throughout the warehouse, and kept up with batch numbers and inventory records. In my current position I operate a back winding machine , and also pull orders from the warehouse and put away finished product, along with other duties such as cutting off and weighing waste, keeping work area clean and organized finishing daily paperwork. I regularly attend plant safety meetings and subcommittee meetings. I have trained several new employees. I am a certified on the job trainer, certified for knife use, and perform safety audits according to schedule. I have had CPR training and blood born pathogens training.
This was a small cafe at a truckstop, and I basically ran the entire second shift alone, occasionally having a second helper on busy nights. I did every function including taking orders , serving customers, cashier, break down and clean equipment, monitor temperatures, dishwashing and kitchen/ dining room clean up, shut down and closing procedures.
Set up tools needed for job, safely climb ladders to transport tools and materials, tear off material that was to be replaced, clean and prepare work area, keep debris contained and disposed of properly, assist in repairs, make sure tools are clean and put away at end of day, make sure no trash is left behind. This was a subcontractor position so I was self employed and provided my own tools.
