I support the dental hygienist during preventive and periodontal procedures by preparing and breaking down operators, setting up instruments, and ensuring all materials are ready for treatment. My responsibilities. include taking digital X-rays, assisting with suction and isolation during cleanings, performing preliminary periodontal charting, taking impressions, applying fluoride treatments (if certified), and providing patients with post-treatment and oral hygiene instructions. The role also involves sterilizing instruments, maintaining infection control standards, updating patient records, and helping ensure an efficient and comfortable experience for every patient.
